South Miami Hospital has received Heart Failure accreditation from the Society of Chest Pain Centers. This means that the hospital has met or exceeded the Society’s standards of caring for individuals with heart failure.

With support from cardiologists, nurse practitioners and staff from South Miami Heart Center, the hospital has developed the Heart Failure Resource Program to provide a comprehensive, multidisciplinary program that helps patients and their cardiologists manage heart failure with the highest quality and most advanced options available.
