One in three Americans is living with cardiovascular disease. You can be part of the national Million Hearts initiative to prevent one million heart attacks and strokes over the next five years.

Come to a free program, on Saturday, March 24, 9 a.m.-12 noon, sponsored by South Miami Heart Center. Cardiologists Harry Aldrich, M.D., and Theodore Feldman, M.D., will discuss heart attack and stroke prevention by using the “ABCs”: Aspirin for people at risk, Blood pressure control, Cholesterol management and Smoking cessation. Take advantage of free screenings for cholesterol, blood sugar, blood pressure and body mass index, along with free one-on-one counseling from the experts at the Heart Center. Screenings are limited to the first 250 people.
